Meet my Woodland Mushroom Garland — one of the most loved projects here at EFI Little Things.

These little mushrooms have decorated children's rooms, craft studios, and cosy homes all around the world. Whether you choose rich velvet, natural linen, or add a sprinkle of sequins for a touch of woodland magic, every garland becomes completely unique.

The mushroom design has evolved over many years of making and refining, and I truly believe these are my perfect little mushrooms. Their simple shape makes them quick, enjoyable to sew and endlessly customisable.

This listing is for a digital PDF sewing pattern and tutorial, which includes:

This is a wonderfully relaxing project, suitable for all sewing skill levels. You can sew the mushrooms entirely by hand or use a sewing machine for most of the construction.

One of my favourite ways to make these mushrooms is while travelling. Before going on holiday, I often cut all the fabric pieces at home, then pack them with a needle, thread, and the printed pattern. There is something incredibly relaxing about hand sewing a few mushrooms while sitting by the sea, in the mountains, or under the trees in a forest. By the time I return home, I usually have another garland ready to decorate my house.
