Dark Brown Soft Stretch Bouclé Fabric – Fat Quarter

This beautifully soft bouclé fabric has a lovely cosy, wool-like feel and is perfect for creating smaller handmade toys and detailed sewing projects.

Unlike my heavier bouclé fabrics, this one has a fully knitted construction, making it noticeably softer, lighter and stretchier. At approximately 200 gsm, it drapes beautifully while still providing the lovely textured bouclé finish.

Because of its generous stretch, I recommend using lightweight iron-on interfacing for pieces that need extra stability or when making larger toys. For smaller projects and details, however, it works wonderfully and gives a beautifully soft finish.

Please note that each piece is hand cut, so measurements may vary slightly.

Helpful Tip

Due to the knitted construction and stretch, I recommend applying a lightweight fusible interfacing when extra stability is needed, particularly for larger pattern pieces.
