This versatile sewing pattern includes a shirt-style top with a choice of two collars, plus comfortable basic trousers. Choose soft cotton, linen, flannel or your favourite printed fabrics to create cosy nightwear or an everyday outfit for your handmade friends.
Size & Fit
Designed to fit both 55 cm (22”) and 30 cm (12”) EFI Friends toys.
Both sizes are included in your purchase.
The patterns are designed specifically for toys from the EFI Friends collection.
About the Pattern
This pattern lets you create a classic shirt-style top with matching trousers.
You can choose between two different collar styles:
- Straight pointed collar — for a traditional shirt or pyjama top.
- Peter Pan collar — for a softer, rounded finish.
The trousers have a simple, versatile design that works beautifully for both pyjamas and everyday outfits.
A pocket pattern is also included, so you can add an extra detail to your shirt or pyjama top.
Mix and match different fabrics, colours and decorative details to create your own version.

- PDF sewing pattern for the shirt-style top — with straight pointed and Peter Pan collar options, in both 55 cm and 30 cm sizes.

Fastenings & Decorative Details
You can choose your preferred fastenings for the shirt, depending on the finished look you want.
Please note: This tutorial does not include instructions for sewing on buttons, making buttonholes or attaching other types of fastenings.
Embroidery and other decorative techniques shown in the inspiration photographs are also not covered by this tutorial.

If you are making an outfit for a toy intended for a young child, please choose suitable fastenings and decorations in accordance with the relevant toy-safety requirements.
Skill Level
Confident Beginner
Basic machine-sewing skills are recommended. Some experience with sewing small garments and curved seams will be helpful.
Printing
The PDF patterns can be printed on A4 or US Letter paper.
Print at 100% / Actual Size.
Do not select “Fit to Page” or allow your printer to scale the pattern.
I recommend following the photo-rich tutorials on your phone, tablet or computer rather than printing every page.
