Christmas season is here! And what could be lovelier than spending a cosy winter evening making a little collection of handmade animals for your Christmas tree?

These adorable mini animals are perfect as Christmas decorations, little gifts or simply as charming toys to display all year round. They are a wonderful hand sewing project, and if you use wool felt, your animals will have a beautiful, cosy finish, almost as if they were hand-felted.

With this sewing tutorial, you can make 7 different animals: a badger, deer, fox, bear, mouse, frog and hare.

All seven animals share the same body size, which means you can have lots of fun dressing them up and creating your own little characters!

Perhaps a deer fairy, a ballerina mouse or a prince hare wearing a royal ermine cape? Or a little fox with pilot glasses, ready for his next adventure?

The possibilities are endless, and this is where your imagination can really take over!

Each finished animal measures approximately 15 cm (6 inches).

PRINTING & SEWING

Print the pattern on standard A4 paper, making sure your printer settings are set to "Actual Size" (100%).

Your finished animals will measure approximately 15 cm tall.

You will receive two digital PDF files, available to download immediately after purchase.

I recommend printing only the pattern file and keeping the tutorial on your tablet, laptop or phone. The tutorial contains many large colour photographs, so viewing it on a screen will save you quite a lot of printer ink!
